Ah, the wonderful world of terminology! When you first start exposing yourself to Planet Publishing, you may find yourself faced with the odd acronym. Considering writers are all about words, we do love a good acronym...

ARC - advance reader's copy
LI - love interest
MC - main character
MG - middle grade (fiction for c. 8-12 years)
MS - manuscript
NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month
PB - picture book
POV - point of view (as in, which character's POV is this written from?)

SF - Science Fiction

SF/F - Science Fiction/Fantasy

TBR - to be read (you may for example have a TBR pile by your bed)

WIP - work in progress
YA - young adult
